LEGAZPI CITY, July 11 – United States Ambassador Philip S. Goldberg will be visiting the province of Albay on July 14, 2014.

In an advisory by the US Embassy in Manila, the Ambassador will be opening the first Special Olympics for persons with intellectual disabilities in Bicol hosted by the province of Albay at 8:00 in the morning at the Bicol University Institute of Physical Education, Sports and Recreation (BU-IPESR) track and field in this city.

Such approach, added Rabehl, leads to a more welcoming and inclusive society that helps to make the world a better, healthier and more joyful place for one athlete, one volunteer, one family member at a time.

The guests for the said forum include experts from the academe, local government units and non-governmental organizations.

The forum will be at the Conference Room of the Albay Climate Change Adaptation and Disaster Risk Reduction Management Training Institute (CCA-DRRMTI).
