LEGAZPI CITY, July 11 (PIA) – The Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) in Bicol welcomed J/SSupt Ignacio Sarabia Panti, DSC as the new regional director effective July 1, 2014.
Cited as “a man of few words who have exceptionally done his job through many years of government service,” RD Panti also calls on BJMPBicol personnel to follow his leadership vowing to bring glory to the region under his command.
Hailing from a humble beginning, Panti is a Bicolano born at Catanduanes and grew up at Anahaw Village here.
He is a graduate of the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) Class Tagapagbuklod in 1989.
He has received numerous recognitions, commendations and awards in his 25 years of service to the government.
Panti said it is his delight to be assigned to his native land and he hopes to finish his government service in the region at the age of 56, the compulsory age for uniformed service personnel.
He further hopes to retain and add-on to the accomplishments of the previous RD J/CSupt Pio Capistrano who is now assigned at the national office as director, directorate for operations.
