LEGAZPI CITY, Aug. 1 (PIA) -- The Filminera Resources Corporation (FRC) has anounced opening of job opportunity for communication officer for the Masbate Gold Project in Aroroy, Masbate.
Jose Nomer Macalalad, Senior Communications Officer/PIO of FRC, said the company is in need of Junior Communications Officer (JCO) who will provide primary support in the delivery of strategic communication in line with the business objectives of the Masbate Gold Project.
The position will be under the supervision of the Senior Communication Officer.
He or she will be responsible in the tactical implementation of the communication plans. specific duties including writing of articles, develop content and new communication tools for various media platforms (print, broadcast, digital); produce documents, publications and other communication materials (IEC), including multi-media production (digital audio/video, html and digital applications.
JCO is also tasked to develop congenial relations with the community and other stakeholders through regular engagements; deliver messaging to stakeholders consistent with the business objectives and reputational safeguards of the company; document of SDMP Projects, Company and community activities and programs, among others
He or she will also monitor media and identify communication opportunities beneficial to the company, draft company statements and media releases, and perform other tasks and duties that may be assigned from time to time
Applicants should be Bachelor’s Degree holder preferably in either multi-media arts, fine arts, communications or journalism; with at least one (1) year relevant work experience, preferably able to conceptualize and develop multi-media and digital productions or html programming, or digital lay-outing/publishing; and ability to multi-task
