VIRAC, Catanduanes, Jan. 30 (PIA) - The Philippine Statistical Authority Catanduanes provincial office will be accepting applicants for Statistical Researchers (SRs) starting February 2015 to May 2015 in connection with the conduct of the 2015 Census of Population and Housing.
Possible positions for these applicants include the provincial office staff who will serve as prov'l office clerk, utility worker, assistant statistician, district office clerk and field workers to act as enumerators or supervisors.
On August 2015, the PSA will conduct the 2015 Census of Population and Housing, basically to update the population count of the country.
Statistical Researchers will be utilized for this operation. SRs qualified as provincial office staff will work for six months from July to December 2015, while those selected as enumerators or field supervisors will work for a maximum of 25 days to a month from July 2015 to August 2015.
Applicants must be a bachelor’s degree holder, not more than 35 years old, physically fit, and with experience in field work.
They will undergo a written examination and interview.
Once hired, they will receive a daily wage ranging from P280.00 to P310.00 per day. Hired enumerators and supervisors will have a fixed daily travelling allowance aside from their wages.
Interested parties must submit application letter, personal data sheet accomplished in their own handwriting, transcript of records, medical certificate, tax identification number, and police clearance.
