Hatol ng Bayan (or, people’s verdict) is the coverage of the 2013 National and Local elections by government media organizations under Media ng Bayan and private companies such as Manila Bulletin, Air 21 and Informatics-Diliman.

The Media ng Bayan comprises the Philippine Information Agency (PIA), Philippine Broadcasting Service - Radyo ng Bayan (PBS-DZRB), People's Television Network (PTV4), Intercontinental Broadcasting Corporation (IBC13), and Philippines News Agency (PNA).

The Hatol ng Bayan 2013 coverage consists of two phases. Phase 1 will cover the campaign period from February 12 to May 11, while Phase 2 consists of news coverage during election eve, election day and the day after elections.

Government media coverage through Hatol ng Bayan will be neutral, objective and absolutely impartial. It will not side with any party, alliance or individual candidates.
