Legazpi City, 7 Albay towns elections postpone for tomorrow


LEGAZPI CITY — Elections in 1 city and 7 towns in Albay have been postponed due to delay in the arrival of election materials.

City Election Registrar Atty. Jasmin Banzuela announced 7:30 a.m. that elections in the city is postponed for tomorrow.

Meantime, the Election registrars in the town of Daraga and Polangui, Atty. Ma. Sonia Mabilin, Atty. Wenceslao Reyes announced, too that elections in their municipalities are suspended and will be held tomorrow. Albay Gov. Joey Sarte Salceda hails from Polangui town.

Per coordination with the Albay COMELEC office, Ramon Casulla reported that elections is postponed in the Libon, Camalig, Guiniobatan, Bacacay, Oas, and Legazpi City, Daraga, Polangui as earlier reported.

Elections is ongoing 2 cities and 6 towns. These are the cities of Ligao and Tabaco, and the towns of Tiwi, Malinao, Malilipot, Sto. Domingo, Rapu-Rapu, Jovellar and Manito. (PIA V)
