LEGAZPI CITY, Aug 18 (PIA) – The National Police Commission (Napolcom) Bicol has announced the schedule for walk-in filing of application for Philippine National Police (PNP) entrance examination on September 1-12 and promotional examination on September 15-30.
Napolcom Bicol Director Rodolfo Santos Jr. said the On-Line Application Scheduling System (OLEASS) is suspended in the region and will accept walk-in application for this year’s exam set on November 9.
“The On-Line Application Scheduling System (OLEASS) is suspended in Region V for this exam period only, and will accept walk-in filing of exam application,” Santos said.
Santos said applicants should personally appear at the Napolcom regional office here on the scheduled dates specified for exam application processing.
Entrance examinees should bring their transcript of scholastic records, birth certificate issued by the Local Civil Registry or national Statistics Office (NSO), two recent and identical 1x1 color ID picture with white background and with complete name tag, one legal size window envelope with P15 worth of mailing stamp and P400 exam fee.
Police Officer 1 with temporary appointment should have their certified copy of attested appointment and plantilla appointment or Order.
Applicants must not be more than 30 years of age with a Bachelor’s degree and height of at least 1.62 m or 5ft.4in for males and 1,57m or 5ft.2in for females.
Promotional examinees, on the other hand, should have their certified attested appointment, plantilla or PNP absorption order, report of rating or certification issued by the Napolcom Central Office, CSC certification of eligibility or PRC board of eligibility, two recent and identical 1x1 color ID picture with white background and with complete name tag and one legal size window envelope with P15.00 worth of mailing stamp.
Examination fee is P400 for police officer (PO), P450 for senior police officer (SPO), P500 for inspector (Insp) and P600 for superintendent (Supt).
“PNP applicants must file their application in complete GOA type “B” uniform,” Santos said.
“Acceptance of application shall be on a first come, first served basis giving priority to residents of the Bicol region and for PNP personnel assigned herein,” he added.
Napolcom, said Santos, reserves the right to limit the number of examinees it will accommodate based on the predetermined quota for every exam category.(AAN/SAA-PIA5/Albay)
