VIRAC, Catanduanes, Sept. 11 (PIA) - Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) provincial field office here will spearhead a Franchising Seminar on next month following ventures are now making their way in the province and encourage locales to get into the industry.
Heginio A. Baldano, DTI Catanduanes officer-in-charge said the seminar will focus on “investing in the right franchise” providing proper information and guidance about franchising; greater awareness on applicable franchise opportunities; and increase the number of franchises in the province.
Baldano noted that franchising has begun to make its way into the local scene with the establishment of Reyes Haircutters, Jollibee, Sam’s, Pancit Malabon, and some foodcarts and perfume outlets.
He said the springing of such kind of business strategy in the province has invigorated the local economy and elevated the face and level of Virac as a more pleasant destination to conduct business and leisure.
He added that with the favorable outcome, it is proper to encourage more people in the locality to venture into franchising.
Franchising has become a major business option for many people because it offers an easier way of starting and setting up a business he likes.
It also assures the investor of a more stable staning because of the proven brand that they are going to sell, plus the expected support from the franchisor in terms of training, system, equipment, and promotion.
Expected participants are potential franchisees, guests and secretariat. (MAL/EAB-PIA5/Catanduanes)
