LEGASPI CITY, Aug 12 (PIA) -- Government prosecutors led a fun run, August 2, to strengthen their cause and establish camaraderie with other agencies in promoting justice according to Regional Prosecutor Mary May De Leoz.
Dubbed as “Run for Justice-night fun run,” with the theme “United Force of prosecutors in Bicol for Justice,” the event highlighted the conclusion of the fourth Regional Convention of the Prosecutors League of the Philippines – Bicol Chapter from August 1-2.
The course of the fun run went through Legazpi Boulevard consisting of five kilometers that started near Kapuntukan Hill with a turn-around point at 2.5 kilometers near the second bridge of Legazpi Boulevard.
The fun run has six categories namely; minors for ages 17 and below, young adults for ages 18 up to 30, prime life for ages 31to 40, midlife for 41 to 50, golden years for 51-59 and senior citizens for ages 60 and above.
The fun run’s top male and female finishers each received a medal, P3,000 cash, and a traveling bag. The top male and female finishers for each category also received medals and traveling bags. (JJJP/PIA5, Albay)
