Philhealth urges members to use PIN and PEN for fast, easy transactions

LEGAZPI CITY, Dec 13 (PIA) -- The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) regional office here urged anew its members from the government and private sectors in the region to use their identification numbers for faster and easier transactions.

PhilHealth 5 Director Orlando Iñigo Jr said the office is currently implementing the use of Philhealth Identification Number (PIN) regardless of membership category and Philhealth Employer Numbers (PENs) for employers in all PhilHealth transactions.

“The PIN and PEN is the main key reference for document request, update of member/employer data, payment/collections, posting and/or uploading of contributions and availing benefits,” Iñigo said.

Iñigo added that these identification numbers are necessary for faster database-dependent transactions with their agency.
