DAET, Camarines Norte, April 1 (PIA) – The Camarines Norte Police Provincial Office (CNPPO) has organized its Provincial Advisory Council (PAC) which shall focus on issues of strategic importance that are contributory to the successful accomplishment of the organization’s mission and the attainment of its vision here recently.
PSSupt. Moises C. Pagaduan, provincial director said that their office is currently implementing the Performance Goveranance System (PGS) in its Peace and Order Agenda for Transformation and Upholding of the Rule of Law (P.A.T.R.O.L) Plan 2030, a local adaptation of the “Balance Scorecard” which translates statements of governance and vision into concrete and quantifiable outcomes by measuring whether the operational activities of an organization are aligned with its long term objectives and strategies.
He said that in the institutionalization of the PGS of the PNP, one of the requirements is the establishment of the PNP Multi-Sectoral Governance Council (MSGC) to all units which is the PAC in the provincial level.
PSSupt. Pagaduan said that the PAC shall also provide the needed external perspectives and appropriate guidance on the key issues and concerns pertaining to the plans, programs and activities of CNPPO.
PAC will also act as channel for networks in individuals and organizations that can held the CNPPO personnel find solution to the pressing issues.
Among the elected PAC are Provincial Prosecutor Atty. Evillo C. Pormento of the Provincial Prosecution Office (PPO) as Chairperson, Dr. Godofredo E. Peteza Jr., vice president for administration and finance of the Camarines Norte State College as the Vice Chairperson and Rosalita B. Manlangit, information center manager of the Philippine Information Agency, Camarines Norte as the Secretary.
The members who are present during the election are Sanguniang Panlalawigan Board Member Hon. Romeo R. Marmol, Provincial Administrator Jose Boma, Anchor/Reporter Nardz Hernandez of DZMD, Nancy Hernandez of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO), Director Cecilia Trani-Balmaceda of Civil Service Commission (CSC).
PAC Chairperson Atty. Pormento said that he will try his best to be an effective head of the council and he also appeal the support of the members to become an effective advisory group of the PNP. (MAL/RBM-PIA5/Camarines Norte).
