VIRAC, Catanduanes, Dec. 3, (PIA)- Graduates of the Catanduanes State University (CSU) notched anew two of the top ten spots in the recently hled Midwifery Licensure Examination (MLE).
Jelly Jane Rabida Vargas garnered 88.40 percent and Lila Ann Tabuac Alonzo, 88.10 percent that landed themthe 2nd and 4th place, respectively, of the licensure examination last month.
CSU president Minerva I. Morales remarked that the new feat as a sweet back to back victory for CSU’s College of Health Sciences after also producing two top 10 placers in the Nurse Licensure Examination last July this year.
Other passers were Sarah Jane Camacho; Rea Dela Cruz; Maricar De Leon; Diana Rose Evangelista; Ranilou Floralde; Remelyn Francisco; Roxanne Isorena; Lani Lumabi; Wilma Magno; Mary Grace Magtangnob; Meolyn Manlangit;
Jasmin Masendo; Sarah Ogalesco; Angelica Pantino; Jingky Pagal; Meden Solero; Michelle Tablizo; Angelica Tolentino; Princess Tuboro; Jocelyn Urbano; Jessa Vallespin; and Rubylyn Vejin.
As part of celebrating the recent victory, a courtesy call with the placers and passers was held on November 22 at the University President's Office. CHS OIC Dean Janet Barrameda Lim and CHS Department of Midwifery faculty members were also present.
CSU garnered a passing percentage of 88.66 percent for first takers, an overall passing percentage of 75% and a National Passing percentage of 46 percent. (MAL/EAB/PIA5/Catanduanes)
