DAET, Camarines Norte, Aug 15 (PIA) – Police authorities here are now conducting in-depth investigation for the possible identification and apprehension of the four (4) unidentified persons who yesterday took the P547,000 payroll money of employees of the local government units of San Lorenzo Ruiz.
The robbery hold-up incident happened at about 2:55 p.m. along P. Burgos St., Barangay III, Daet by the four unidentified male factors against Jorge Placido, 47 years old, married, Revenue Collection Clerk; Anthony Belleza, 41 years old, married, job order; and Romeo Sical, 44 years old, married, driver of the Ambulance all of the said municipality.
In the report submitted by PSSupt.Domingo Saguido Sario Jr, officer in charge of Daet Municipal Police Station to PSSupt. Moises Pagaduan, acting provincial director of Camarines Norte Police Provincial Office (CNPPO), disclosed that while the victims were already alighted at the Foton Ambulance to have a snack, two (2) unidentified males with unknown caliber of gun pointed and approached the said victims, one of them took the black bag from Anthony Belleza containing more or less Php 547,000 while the other suspect instructed Romeo Sical to drop facing downward and took his wrist watch with trademark Sieko 5 (gold plated) and the key of the ambulance.
Immediately the said suspects ride on to the two motorcycles driven by another (2) two suspects wearing helmet then fled heading towards the direction of Ponayo Clinic, Taft Iraya, Barangay II in Daet.
Prior to the incident Jorge Placido withdrew the said money at Landbank of the Philippines (LBP) located along Vinzons Avenue, Barangay V, Daet intended for the payroll of the employees of the said municipality and then proceeded to SJF Auto Supply along F. Pimentel Avenue, Daet to fix the wiper of the Ambulance, thereafter they decided to have a snack at Yudrei’s Kinalasan where the incident happened.
Accordingly, one of the suspects who approached the victim was wearing white polo shirt with brown horizontal stripe, clean cut hair, more or less 5 feet 3 inches height and chubby. (RBM/PIA5-Camarines Norte)
