Cacgo conducts outreach program

VIRAC, Catanduanes, Sept 29 (PIA) -- The Catanduanes Association of Chiefs of Government Offices (Cacgo) in the province conducted an outreach program in Brgy. Salvacion, Bagamanoc, Catanduanes on September 26.

The activity, where 150 recipients received bag of goods containing rice, canned goods and noodles, is part of the 112th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary celebration.

The recipient locale of the said program was chosen upon recommendation of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office of Bagamanoc Town.

Department of Public Works and Highways (DWPH) District Engineer Ignacio Odiaman, Cacgo president, said the gift-giving activity is their way of giving back and sharing their blessings.

He also thanked members of the organization and the donors who made the event possible.

Before the gift-giving, the association held a tree-planting activity within the vicinity of the barangay.

Around 20 agency and department heads were present during the activity.

Meanwhile, recipients expressed thanks to all the members of CACGO as well as the sponsors since according to them, they are lucky enough to be chosen as the beneficiaries of the program. (MAL/EAB-PIA5, Catanduanes)
