LEGAZPI CITY, April 20 (PIA) -- The National Academy of Science and Technology (NAST) of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) has announced the commencement and opening for nominations for the Search International Publications and Awards for Granted Patents and Registered Utility Models.
DOST Bicol regional director Tomas B. Briñas encouraged qualified researchers and/or professors with worthwhile Research and Development (R&D) work to join in this DOST competition.
Likewise, the member-agencies of Sicence and Technology (S&T) networks [Bicol Consortium for Agriculture Resources Research and Development (BCARRD); Bicol Consortium for Industry and Engineering Research and Development (BCIERD) and Bicol Consortium for Health Research and Development (BCHRD)] are requested to disseminate this information in the region.
The awards program pursues “Evaluation and Improvement of the Research Publication and IP Productivity of the DOST R&D Institutes”
Nominees should submit two (2) reprints or photocopies of the publication, duly accomplished application form and the printed copy of the screenshot of page from Thomson Reuters and/or Scopus Master List of Accredited Journals for the year in which the paper was published to DOST-NAST, Philippine Science Heritage Center, DOST Complex, Bicutan, Taguig City.
Also required is an electronic copy of said application in pdf format through email at secretariat@nast.ph or nastrpeawards@gmail.com. Deadline for the submission of entries/nominations is not later than 25 September 2015.
