VIRAC, Catanduanes, June 27 (PIA) -- Operatives of the Philippine National Police (PNP) recently nabbed Panganiban town's 5th most wanted person through a phone call from a concerned citizen.
Panganiban Police Chief Senior Insp. Edmundo Cerillo led the team that arrested the murder suspect by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 43 Presiding Judge Lelu P. Contreras under Criminal Case No. 4271.
The arrest showed the significance of the community's active participation in their campaign to apprehend criminals, according to PNP Catanduanes Provincial Director Police Senior Supt. Eduardo G. Chavez.
Chavez added that the continuous support of the people is a big boost to the success of their campaign against criminals.
